Currently LAECA – LATINO AMERICANA DE ELECTRIFICACIÓN, S.A is developing the following projects:

Series Compensation at 765 kV in the Transmission System of CORPOELEC. Project that includes the series compensation in 50 % of the three 765 kV lines from Malena in the San Gerónimo Substation, and the compensation of the three 765 kV lines from San Gerónimo in the substations La Arenosa (40 %), La Horqueta (50 %) and Sur (50 %). The scope includes the study, engineering, procurement, 765 kV series compensation banks supply, switching equipment, control and protection systems, and integration to the existing substations. Client: CORPOELEC.

Manaure 115/13.8 kV Electrical Substation. Project that includes detailed engineering, procurement, supply of equipment and materials, construction, acceptance tests and commissioning. The scope includes two 115 kV bays, three 115/13.8 kV of 40 MVA each power transformer and sixteen 13.8 kV breakers switchgear. Project located in the Paraguaná Peninsula, Falcon State. Client: CORPOELEC.

Deviation (T-Off) of the 400 kV La Arenosa – Yaracuy 400 kV transmission line to Portuguesa 400/115 kV Substation (Civil works). Project that includes the execution of civil works and 400 kV towers assembly for a stretch of 22 km. Client: China GEZHOUBA Group (CGGC).

Transmission and Distribution Lines at 400, 138, 34.5, 24 y 13.8 kV associated with Don Luis Zambrano Thermoelectric Power Plant. Project involves the engineering, procurement, supply of materials, construction and commissioning of several transmission and distribution lines at different voltage levels. The project is located at the South of Maracaibo Lake along Zulia, Trujillo and Mérida states. Project for CORPOELEC.
